Unique 3-Section Construction

Head and back section engineered to provide torso and back support.

Section 2

Pelvic and upper thigh "T" zone for accommodation to areas prone to pressure ulcer development;
specially engineered to off-load sacral, coccygeal, and hip skeletal structures.

Immersion of the pelvic structures engages the pelvic region, reducing migration towards the end of the bed when the head is elevated reducing shear and pressure forces.

Section 3

Lower extremity section molds to the lower leg to accommodate limb contours and off-load heel/ankle skeletal structures–areas prone to pressure ulcer development. Sloped design reduces the need for adjunctive heel suspension devices.

Quality mattress

I am a RN and use many mattresses when caring for patients in the hospital. My mother in-law ordered the immersus mattress and is so happy with the comfort, and the ability to get out of bed with the safety bolster. Quality product!
