The pump features a high airflow dual compressor pump that produces 181 liters per minute, five alternating pressure cycles, adjustable pulsation cycle times, and three audible and visual alarms. The mattress comes with raised side air bolsters to reduce accidental roll-outs and risk of entrapment, and the nylon top cover is waterproof and quilted for added comfort. The system can support a weight capacity of up to 560 pounds.

It's very quiet. So the noise level is very low. I have bedsore on my coccyx for almost a year now. I've had the mattress topper for 2 weeks now. My coccyx feels better! So, it's pretty good for pain relief.
It's fairly comfortable on setting 1. If I turn it up, it's too hard. It's not cooling. When I wake up, my panties are sweating to my butt! LOL!
For the price, I would definitely recommend it.
