The common notion is that when you get physically incapacitated, you’re stuck indoors. This is a bummer, especially if you love going outside and basking under the sun. But good for you, now there are wheelchairs that you can take for outdoor adventures.
We understand that life can be a bit dull and you can be feeling trapped inside your home, but it doesn’t have to be that way at all times! When you get yourself an all-terrain wheelchair, you’ll be giving yourself a breather every once in a while.
Plus, just reward yourself a little, right?
If you’re still not convinced about getting an all-terrain wheelchair, then let’s check out all the features that you should expect from it. In addition, we'll walk you through Mobility Paradise's selection of the best all-terrain wheelchairs.
Why Get an All-Terrain Wheelchair
If you live in the suburbs, then the chances are high that you’ll need an all-terrain wheelchair. Most wheelchairs are designed for smooth surfaces. This poses a massive limitation for those who live outside of the city since not all surfaces are smooth, especially on rocky roads.
An all-terrain wheelchair is also the best buddy you can have if you want to go for an outdoor adventure. This is perfect if you still want to be active and explore the outside. While it may be true that having a physical incapacity will primarily limit your movement, you don’t have to limit the kind of life that you’re living. Go outside, wait for the sunrise, and bask under the sun – live a little, and you’ll be happier.
Who Should Get an All-Terrain Wheelchair
All-Terrain Wheelchairs are a significant investment. Not only does it offer maximum reliability for outdoor trips but also unparalleled functionality and flexibility; that’s precisely why it will make for a good choice for the following individuals:
- People who live in a suburban home surrounded by rocky and muddy pathways
- People who love going out and enjoy the nature
- People who are looking for a dual-support – wheelchair and walker in one
- People who are in need of a heavy-duty and high-capability wheelchair
Features of an All-Terrain Wheelchair
Generally, all-terrain wheelchairs come with bigger wheels, perfect for those who love trekking and going on trails in the forest. These fatter tires are great for trekking and more since they will give you better stability and support to pass through challenging terrain.
Suppose you love the beach more, then getting an all-terrain wheelchair is a good choice. All-terrain wheelchairs have huge wheels, which help stay on top of the sand, unlike regular wheelchairs that get stuck digging deeper and deeper into the sand. So, if you’re missing the beach, then this is your best chance of getting that well-deserved vacation under the sun!
Because all-terrain wheelchairs are built for challenging surfaces, you’ll need a wheelchair that’s sturdy enough to go through rough terrain regularly. The good news is that all-terrain wheelchairs are built only with high-grade materials, making them more durable and long-lasting that will surely last for years. So, if you’re looking for a good buy that will help your mobility, then getting an all-terrain wheelchair is my top recommendation.

I have been riding this to and from work and for other outings for two months now. I love the scooter, easy to control and use and so much fun! A bit heavy for me to lift, but that's okay.
Just got back from a week long camping trip. The generator and solar panels worked AWESOMELY..
We were extremely impressed Thank you so much!
Great scooter. My boys love it.
What a great deal, I live in Palm Springs California where our whole town is not really big, so this is perfect here. I work 1.5 miles from work and this is my transportation
Worked exactly as expected!
So far so good best gift I ever had 😁. I use it to go to work and home and around my area. If you are thinking of getting it I think you should you won't be disappointed.
Fantastic scooter. My wife has back issues and this is great for getting around the campground.
Pretty good. It works and serves its purpose.
Easy assembly, well packaged. Sturdily built, with a short neighborhood test run.
I am so far impressed that I made the right buying choice.
Very comfortable and easy to ride. Has plenty of power and does not hesitate to go up small hills. Love it. Much easier to ride than the kick-start stand-up scooters.
Love it!! Everyone needs a Soverskyscooter like this.
Great electric scooter, lots of power, well worth the money.
My husband loves it and he loves riding it too he has been riding it all day too!
Awesome product! excellent performance!
I’ve been thinking of ways to get out and about due to health issues. This scooter is so fun. Boy does it have pep!!! Careful braking it grabs fast. And downhills you pick up so serious speed. Only had it a couple of weeks and so far I can get about an hour and 45 min of all-out speed before the battery indicator says low. Haven’t ridden her to empty but I figure another 15 and she’d be dead so an hour battery life before recharging. It’s the perfect outdoor escape I’ve been needing. Highly recommend a very quiet and minimal setup out of the box.
