The Proactive Medical Protekt Aire 6000 84" Low Air Loss/Alternating Pressure Mattress System 80066 is available in both an 80-inch or 84-inch (Tall) sleep surface capable of preventing and treating pressure ulcers from Stage I through IV. The 8" height mattress features a Seat-Inflate mode (similar to the function of Fowler on some mattresses) that can be activated manually at the control pump to push additional air to the center of the mattress to help prevent the user from "bottoming out" when the head section is articulated (raised) high enough that the user's upper body weight shifts to their buttocks region.

An additional benefit of the manual Seat-Inflate feature is that the mattress head section can be articulated at any degree without the Alternating Pressure feature being disengaged, as with most mattresses featuring an Auto Fowler. As long as the Seat-Inflate has not been manually activated, the Alternating Pressure will continue to function. *Note: This may require raising the firmness setting to allow more air to reach the center of the mattress to prevent the user from bottoming out if articulating above 40-degrees. The Aire 6000 is available with optional raised side edges to help minimize the risk of a user being trapped between mattress and side rails.

Well Designed Mattress

I purchased this mattress about 5 months ago. My husband is hemiplegic and had developed a pressure sore while in hospital, following a stroke. The sore had healed by the time he was discharged 3 months later. However the skin is very friable and prone to breakdown. It was a constant battle to keep it dry and clean and despite all our efforts, it would periodically become red and inflamed, then start to break down. The standard insurance mattress wasn't working. I have to say, it took me months to settle on the Protekt 6000 and am so happy I did. It is very well designed and thought out. It has a max firm setting for wheelchair transfers and mobilizing the patient around the bed. A sitting feature which, as it is an air mattress, allows it to retain its shape and not sag in the middle. Best of all it is cool and prevents sweating, hence preventing constant moisture on the skin which results in pressure sores. It is easy to clean, the quilted topper unzips and is removable for machine washing while the base stays in place. I also liked that it came in the extra long as my husband is 6'7". The only point of irritation for me is that the max firm setting is automatically controlled and as it takes some time for my husband to mobilize, there are times when we are trying to transfer only to realize that the mattress has reverted to the normal setting. The pump is not whisper quiet but also not annoyingly loud, kind of like white noise in the background. Would definitely buy again.

My mother has M.S. and is bedridden for the most part. So that means she is prone to getting bedsores. This product has all but made it so that she doesn't get bed sores anymore. This product is A++++ works and is comfy. Well worth the price!

Outstanding! Just what I was looking for this Moto Tec Thor Scooter is a Beast! My first scooter was a Uber Scoot 1600w 48v and it goes pretty fast but the Thor definitely smokes the Uberscoot. The dual motors and lighter body weight really helps with extra speed and going up hills is No Problem!*Please read manual over a couple times slowly to be able to set all your settings a total of 20 programs.Includes:Horn,3 front lights,rear turn signals,cruise control and much more...I highly recommend the Moto Tec Thor😎👍

6 week review

Love the orange color, (even nought Rattan calls it red). Have had a lot of compliments on the look. Have put over 360 miles on it. Riding on relatively flat terrain I’m going over 60 miles on a charge. Their are still two bars left so another 20 miles would be possible. Packing was rock solid. Bike had all touching parts padded and tie rapped. Put in a plastic bag and sealed. Then into another bag and filled with expandable foam and the box closed. Ride is enjoyable and the bike handles great. Mobility Paradise responded promptly about missing suspension seat post and the replacement arrived promptly. So far no problems. Enjoying my new ride.
